Chelston Park is close to the town of Wellington and some six miles from Taunton and five minutes from junction 26 of M5 motorway.

There are 31 rooms, comprising 22 single and 9 double rooms suitable for couples. There are two lounges and a dining room. A four-person passenger lift services all floors.

Staff are trained and supported to help each resident with choices about living in a way that helps them get the best from each day.

Our nurse Trainer as well as external training providers support staff and deliver certificated training to help ensure these high standards of care and support are maintained.

Chelston Park welcomes residents for long as well as short stays for holiday, convalescence and respite.

Chelston Park was recognised as an Investor in People in 2005 and 2009 underlining our commitment to staff training, support and supervision.

Chelston Park has been recently refurbished and modernised with a new sitting room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room as well as new windows, digital phone system and electric profiling beds.

Chelston Park Nursing & Residential Home is part of a small group of care and support services which include Netherclay House Residential Home, Netherclay Home Care and Chelston Gardens Dementia Care Home.

Netherclay House Residential Home is a delightful Georgian property tastefully extended to provide quality residential care and support as well as close care flats to 42 residents. Set in beautiful grounds bordering the river Tone in the village of Bishops Hull, some one and a half miles from the county town of Taunton.

Netherclay House also offers self contained close care flats set in the grounds, close to the main care home. These offer the same levels of care and service during the day while providing greater independence. Residents are welcome to use all the facilities and services available in the main care home.

Netherclay Home Care has provided care and support at home in Taunton and surrounding villages since 1993. We deliver quality, personalised care and support at home to enable service users to live independently in their own homes.

Chelston Gardens Dementia Care Home, built in the grounds of Chelston Park Nursing & Residential Home, opened in November 2007 offering personalised dementia care and support in a modern, purpose built, care home, designed around a secure internal garden. Conveniently located near Wellington, some six miles from Taunton and easy 5 minutes from junction 26 of the M5 motorway near the Somerset and Devon border.
