Built in the 1920s, Chelston Park has thirty one rooms: twenty two singles and nine doubles suitable for couples.
The original period house has been tastefully extended, refurbished and modernised for the purpose of care. Chelston Park boasts two sitting rooms, a dining room, a new kitchen and laundry room. There is a quiet room in the middle of the house. There are two lifts: one services every floor and the other the ground floor and the first floor.
Chelston Park offers a variety of rooms – some large, some smaller – with pleasant views and plenty of light.
Rooms are equipped with electric profiling beds and a nurse call system with call points in both the bedroom and the bathroom.
Rooms have a TV point and each resident has a personalised telephone number and they can choose to have incoming calls only. Of course, WiFi is available throughout the building. If you are visiting, ask a carer for the code.
Rooms can be personalised with the resident’s own pictures, photos, furniture and ornaments.
